Interview

1-Why are you in this project?

I joined this project to contribute at the collection of corks with the other members; because I found it a very good charity to help handicapped who really need our help.

2- What did you do for your school or community before this project?
Oh! This is my first   project! I didn’t collect corks or bottles before, but I’ve always wanted to be a member of a charity action.
3- Is this project going to change something in your school, community, team, and yourself as a person and as a learner?
Yes of course! It will change a lot, mainly in pupils’ mentalities, because, now, they will be more responsible of what they do and more mindful about the needs of handicapped. For me, this first experience is very positive and I could learn a lot from the people I met! Also, I came across very nice people who are very good friends. I will definitely renew this experience as this is the kind of project I always wanted to be part of.
4- How do you intend to do this; your strategies (collaboration, raising awareness, taking actions, the tools you are going to use...)
For me, I collected corks since the beginning of the school year, I also talked about this project with my classmates in order to join the other members and I prepared with my friends interviews and questions about the collection of caps to get the perspective of each participant.

5- Do you expect to succeed in your mission? How do you measure your success or failure and that of your partners in the project?

At first, my partners and I had a common dream, which was to achieve our mission to help handicapped people. So we shared tasks so that each of us participates in this project, we worked hard and now, we’ve reached our goal.

6- What are you expecting to learn?
Through this project, we (the other members and I) have been able to understand how a simple collection of corks could help a thousand of handicapped and that a simple act of charity can put a smile on someone’s face! It’s very little but if repeated, this experience can make a lot of other people’s lives much easier. This is the message we want to disseminate around us, in our family groups and friends
